Its PPO network is the Classic Network; branded the “Ameritas Dental Network” in Texas, and it also underwrites and administers dental for other brands under private-label arrangements, so its fee schedules can apply to plans that don’t carry the Ameritas name.

Credentialing is handled in-house by Ameritas provider relations, with a company-claimed turnaround of roughly 15–20 business days for a complete application; fast by dental-carrier standards.2 Treat the claim as a target, not a guarantee, and track your own submission dates as with any payer.
Operational notes
- Private-label reach. Because Ameritas underwrites or administers dental for other brands, a Classic Network contract can govern claims arriving under logos you never contracted with. Reconcile remittances against the contract, not the card. See Network leasing for the general phenomenon.
- Texas branding differs; “Ameritas Dental Network” in Texas is the same relationship as the Classic Network elsewhere.
