How to submit
Email contact@getlemma.com with:- Your draft, or a description of what you want to write if you would rather agree the topic first. Any format works: a Word document, a Google Doc, Markdown, or the body of the email.
- The name, organization, one-line description, and website URL for the credit.
- The states or areas of dentistry you can speak to.
What is most useful
The most useful contributions are the ones only you can write.
The 51 state pages are summaries built from primary sources. Someone who practices in a state knows things the statute does not say.
Corrections and updates are welcome on the same terms. See How we keep this current for what to send.
Neutrality
Every page here is written to be useful to a reader who will never be your client or customer, and contributed pages are held to that standard. Write the analysis as you would explain it to a peer, including the inconvenient parts, the tradeoffs, and the places where a rule is unsettled. Where other practitioners read it differently, say so and explain why. You benefit from writing here because the work shows what you know. We will not publish an article written as an advertisement. In practice:- No sales language, calls to action, or pitches for your services.
- No claims about your firm or company being the leading, largest, or best at anything.
- Where you describe a vendor category your company competes in, apply the same criteria to yourself that you apply to everyone else, or leave the comparison out.
- Illustrative examples from your own work are fine. Case studies structured as a testimonial are not.
