# MCNA Dental

**MCNA Dental** is an independent, dentist-founded prepaid dental plan serving Medicaid and CHIP members in selected states. A group should confirm MCNA's current contract and service area on the applicable state program site before adding it to the enrollment plan.

## Operational notes

* **State assignments change at reprocurement.** Which DBA holds which state's Medicaid dental contract is decided by periodic state procurement. Verify MCNA's current status on the state Medicaid dental program page before enrolling, rather than trusting a cached list.
